LA8GKA is correct in saying the MIC nut dosn't need to be removed. Only the nuts on the 2 controls need to be removed.

Does your mod enable tx and rx between 230-350 mhz AM UHF milair frequencies. "just curious" Also what firmware version does your unit have? rgds & 73

TX range after modification is 136-160mhz and 420-470mhz. 1.2Ghz remains unchanged.
