  • @tisho91 Yes it was. In his hometown of Erie, PA at the Tuillio arena in Erie, PA.

  • Ya know, this is one of the quickest matches i have ever seen, lol

  • I think it was more about accuracy and drive into the pins back then. You didn't need as much equipment. I think when reacitve came along, eventually all of the pros peaked, as their accuracy and talent made it too easy. Now the sport is more about equipment strategy for the specific conditions on the tour. You'll notice that the overall averages haven't changed much. Pete Weber, Parker Bohn, they haven't changed. But they have to think harder about equipment than before.

  • legend.

  • @braddahjerry

To me, it should be $250,000 for a 300 game...make it REAL juicy to pull perfection on the lanes! =)

  • It is amazing who smooth the ball comes though the pins...

  • @myicestro1906 The high end balls of today would be too aggressive. The only reason why balls get better and more aggressive is because the oil layouts keep changing and becoming more challenging.

  • I tend to wonder how would the aggressive bowling equipment of today would match up with the lane conditions in the early and mid 90s?

  • i love the arena bowling circut they should do more of that

  • Wasn't this the tournament where Bob actually averaged 284 (over 280 for 4 games) ?
