Scenes taken from a 50Min. DVD about the early years (Around the 1980's) of the Greenville Intl Seaplane Fly-in in Maine. The video is soft do to the fact it came from a VHS format.The last scene is of a seaplane taking off from a snow covered Mt.top by sliding over the edge to gain flying speed.

Just watched it this weekend . Shocked at the inexperence of most of the pilots compared to the standard 25 years ago. Only two pilots cabable of even qualifying in the spot landing contest?? Only one pilot there that could do step turns in the Canoe race competion??? Sad to think there is just a handful of experenced pilots left ....... compared to watching Charlie Coe and others from the 70/80s this is now a far cry from what it was once..... still had a good crowd?
