So I never did go back and 'edit' this vid. Haha, sorry =P But I made this video in about 4 hours during one of those sleepless nights not long after the hurricane. It was a great way for me to pass some time and it was a healing process in a way for me. I made another video a few months after this one, but this is still my fav because it came out of one of those nights that I felt like I needed to *do* something instead of sitting around being mopey and emo at night.

Hope you are doing well now. That is one of the finest examples I've seen of before/after. It is reality. I've been to NO twice to help gut homes.

This is a perfect example of why modern computer technology is so important to film and art in general. I've been playing around with video for 15 years, and it is my opinion that one day soon, independent filmmakers like outlaw4824 will change the industry - Thank God! The same thing happened in literature in the 1950s when the people of the streets, like The Beats, stole poetry away from the academia. Bravo!

All of this looks too familiar. I lost my property also, but we decided not to move back in. We now live in Prairieville, 10 miles outside of Baton Rouge. I still call Chalmette home.

my parents recently decided to move back this past summer. i go to school in auburn, but chalmette is still my home too
