could i use sewing string instead of wire?

@ihateobamagirl I haven't tried. It might be a little bit difficult if the string is very thin. I think it would work better with yarn or embroidery thread where you could use multiple strands together.

great video! just one question though, why did you use wire to make the wive rather then string??

@carnagecupcake I know a lot more about wire than I do string. That's all. I can answer questions about the materials better by using wire. I am really happy with the way the finished pendant looks, too.

If I make the metal ring 7 inches but keep the wire at 28, would it look too thin? Approximately how many feet of wire do I need then?
