since i dont understand the language were they paying tribute to chiang kai-shek there own way or were they mocking him?? just curious please explain.

@bigblondman1 hi, it's a cover of an old song that pays tribute to chiang kai-shek. students in taiwan used to sing this anthem in class. the band plays a punk version(without changing any lyrics) for fun bc everyone knows the song. :)

@TofuPanny ok, thanks for the explanation. i would like to hope the students there still sing that song in class. please tell me they still do. just because the dpp. demonized chiang so much in recent years is no excuse for everyone to turn their backs on him. he was and still is a very courageous heroric man, albiet a tragic hero. what he did he did in war against an enemy. if the dpp wants to demonize anyone it should be mao. he murdered his own people many times after he took power.
