suppose that a whole company of American infantry having come under fire from the vicinity of an Iraqi village had assaulted the village and found only old men and a lot of women and children and their animals but instead of just withdrawing the troops and officers went berserk and murdered 500 of them, raped and then slaughtered all the girls some as young as 8 & killed the animals for fun with bowie knives. Suppose. And the report was marked top secret. What would you do, in Mannings position?
