"all this to say" Listener Participation Info!

Hello again!

Wanna sing on a song with us?

About a week ago, we tried something fun at one of our shows... we asked our audience if they'd like to help us out by being a sort of "choir" for a particular song. We had them sing just a single note together, which sounded quite beautiful! (Almost like the kids choir in the Charlie Brown/Peanuts Cartoons, which is exactly what we were hoping for!) And that's really all there was too it... but something about it was real pretty and we thought "We should record that!"

We would very much like to try it with YOU, here over the internet. "How?!?" you ask? Basically all it requires is you, singing a single note as pretty as you can and emailing us a small recording of it. We will then compile your lovely voices and add it to an acoustic version of our song "All This To Say" (from our new record) that we will then give out as a FREE download shortly after!

Sound good? If you'd like to give it a try, here's some further instructions... * First, go ahead and watch this video to hear the note and to get a better idea of what we're asking of you. The note you'll be singing is A# * If you're able to read this email, then you obviously have a computer (or a super cool phone), so that's all the gear you'll need to record your lovely self. Most computers/smart phones have audio recording abilities, so fire up a recording application (GarageBand, Audacity, Voice Notes, etc. Whatever you have!) and you should be able to use your the built-in mic to record. * We just need one, long A-sharp note... sung as nicely and in-key as you can. Remember, think "Charlie Brown!" * Once you're done, just email us an audio file of your recording here: SLEEPINGATLAST@AOL.COM * IMPORTANT: We'll need ALL of the recordings no later than Thurs., Jan. 21st. *LEGAL BLAH-BLAH-BLAH... Please note that your participation in this project acknowledges that the recording that you submit (and your name!) will be released publicly, and that you will receive no monetary compensation.

This will be super fun.. hope you'll participate! It'll be a pleasure to make music with you.
