BR Std 4 No. 76079 on the Esk Valley between Whitby and Battersby on Sunday 14th March 2010. Also Class 25 No. D7628 'Sybilla' and Class 24 No. D5061 on the 'Moorlander' between Pickering and Goathland.

  • Great video. I am on this clip, 9:48 at the 1st window of the last carriage, in by purple bike top, trying to keep soot out of my eyes (no goggles!) I cycled MBro to Whitby and got the train back to Battersby to cycle home. Great service, plenty of room for bikes in the guards van, this good be a good tourist thing.

  • The 11:00 from Whitby looked pretty full as it went past as did the 14:00. I think word is gradually getting around.
