thank you for understanding i did not mean to insult your technique and also for reminding me of the term i was searching for, "mend". i was looking for pov fly fishing videos to see how successful the video is at capturing a fish take a dry fly and stumbled across this one. thanks for the upload.
sure. thanks for that. i usually mend line when needed but that day i was just goofing around with the camera more than anything. wasnt really paying much attn due to the fact there were some very large bear tracks nearby haha..thanks again.
i enjoyed the video. i am not sure how much your technique has improved since the video or if there was a reason why you were not doing what i recommend next but ill say it so maybe someone else may learn.
just before the line hits the water throw your rod and line upstream to help get a longer dead drift. this helps a lot when there is large disparities in current speed. it may only buy you another 1 foot of dead drift but sometimes that is the difference between catching and fishing.
