Warhammer Online Video of the Month #12 - A Little RvR

What's it like on the battlefields of WAR? Well, it might very well look something like this new video we have to share with you. These RvR battles were filmed for an internal presentation so you'll see lots of people standing around beating on each others (we needed them to remain relatively still to capture the footage we needed!). Those of you that have experienced real RvR before know that battles are a lot more fluid and that no one ever stays stationary for long. Enjoy!

This is not a very accurate depiction of RvR in warhammer online. I've never been in a battle where everyone just stands around hacking each other.

WoW is a child's game compared to Warhammer. It is designed for massive PvP from the ground up. I've been in huge battles 100+ players and no lag, server crashes, etc.

If want to spend a lot of time killing rats and staring at the back of a flying griffon's ass, play WoW. If want some hardcore pvp, get WAR

Uhh yeah...then I guess you have never got a large like 2 40 man raid groups to raid SW or IF. Yeah...server crashes and slows down.

@ChefGroovy2 Yeah the guy says it's not a depiction of real RVR because I quote "Everyone would be jumping around like lunatics" But I think that's more intense that this...

@ChefGroovy2 WAR`s PvP isnt that good at all. I`ve played both WAR and WoW, WoW got just as good PvP or better. You apperently have not played enough WOW..

mk first of all if you read my comment i said heroics not raids. and the only places you needing CC in is faction champs in Toc. like 3 trash pulls in uldaur. and cat lady in uldaur. i havent done ICC yet. and gluth in naxx. and if you tried to get into a guild on my server and said you dont use a rotation. you prob couldnt get in one. and i dont know if they count OTing as CCing but i dont. and no matter what, if ur in a pug 90% of the time they will take somone who has higher dps over you.

lol your joking right...people aren't trying to be top dps, but maximum possible dps inorder to get the boss down as quick as possible since enrage timers now play a much larger role. Also if you have a rotation in raids, your pretty fail. I can not think of a boss where you should have a rotation. Also you obviously have not done current raids if you think you don't have to CC mobs. All in all, you have no clue what your talking about & was probally fail at WoW so had to switch.

was that to what i said? bcz i couldnt tell. if it was then u didnt read what i posted. and im sorry, maybe i shouldnt have said "little kids" maybe i should have said "people that are bad at the game". first of all they ruined heroics. theres no CC involved its just Dps dps dps dps. now people dont care how good u did on the boss fight as long as u did top dps. back in BC if u kept a mob or two CCd and pulled ok dps that would be considered good. not brainlessly pressing a rotation of keys.

I think warhammers great, pvp(rvr) is alot better then WoW imo and i have played both.

But this vid aint convincing anyone to play it.

well couse i´m obsest (is that how its writen?) whit raiding. but cant be up all night for 1 raid couse i have school. i only do that when i have holiday and thast now!!!! WHOOOO I CAN BE DRUNK IN MONDAY LOL .... anyways i do play wow a litle bit still and now i have my new awsome computer so gona buy this game ;P oh and merry crismas to u too (sorry for bad grammar i´m not too god whit writeing english )
