  • Great video. Just like to add that measures are often if not always calculated (avg, sum, multiple, etc.). Dimensions can be numerical (zip code), however they aren't summed, multiplied, averaged. GL and zip code is a great example of a numerical dimension which will never be summed, multiplied, averaged, etc. So think of math when measures come to mind, think static (physical) when dimensions come to mind and math, even when time is a dimension, isn't performed on dimensions.
