This week, Erik Beck recreates the crystal skull prop from "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

I asked what kind of camera you use, and most Indy Mogulers said the Canon T2i, followed by the Canon T3i and Canon Vixia-brand camcorder.

Some of my other gear (not on that list) includes an HDSLR rig called the ULTRAcompact, a Panasonic TM700 (my secondary camera), a portable LCD monitor I bought from Hong Kong, and a cheaper Manfrotto tripod that I've had for years. I also use a 9-bulb CFL light bank I built myself.

@huntninja, The Canon T2i is very affordable and a popular choice. Anyone know of a cheaper HDSLR? (I've seen some HDSLR form factors in the $200–300 price range, but they usually don't have removable lenses—often called megazooms.)
