Here's the way to beat him so fast, it's under 7 seconds.
With your nun-chuck, point the thing upward, and shake your Wii Remote along with it. You should be able to lunge Caliburn upward. Next, when he's distracted, jump, spin slash him, and when you land on the floor, point the thing downward, and shake. You should do ALOT of hits with that sword slash. He should do Chaos Control afterwards, so if he does, use your shield and repeat this process. I used it, it was amazing.

I know how to beat him in about 6 to 10 seconds. When the battle begins and he uses chaos control, use lunge, then do the attack when sonic spins the sword around him (I can't for the life of me remember what it's called) a couple of times and when he gets up use the areal attack with the right time (If you do it at the right time his areal attack shouldn't affect you) use your areal attack again to knock him down, use the spinny sword attack again, areal ect...
