CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The jury in the case of a former Colerain teacher
is deliberating Thursday afternoon. They'll decide if they believe Julie
Hautzenroeder had sex with two 16-year-old students. She's also accused
of smoking marijuana with them. Both sides gave their closing
arguments today. Prosecutors told the jury that when they consider the
text messages, the testimony of the boys and the testimony of
Hautzenroeder's own friend about that night, the only verdict is guilty. The
defense asked jurors to weigh the evidence, and asked if they'd be
willing to rely on it. He suggested they would not and would find her
not guilty.Local 12 has a crew at the courthouse and we'll bring you the verdict when it comes in.
