  • Putting them to sleep first in dangerous. This does not hurt the deer. remember they shed thier antlers every year anyway. Better than having them kill each other. The buck is struggling not because it is in pain but because it does not like being restrained.

  • theres many reasons for this but i agree at least put them to a nice sleep while you do it and then wake them up its easyer and more humane the reason for this is if that was a farm deer they chop the antlers to prevent them from fighting and gorging with other bucks. theres reasons be aware of that before hating but yea it does look sad even though it has no harm to the deer its just like getting your nails clipped for them

  • If its a pin raised deer that is very normal. Doesn't hurt the deer at all.

  • @SuburbanHunting can they feel that? if you cut them up high enouhg???

  • why the fuck would you sick assholes do that to a deer thats still alive. I hunt, but i kill the deer in the field before i remove the antlers. fuck you guys.
