Several things: The volume on the digital is low. Also, I think its just about the eq, its very bright on the digital, sounds like cheesy action movie solos...

What IS better? What sounds "good"? It's all relative. I can say, however, that it all depends on what you like and want to do with your sound.

try using a tubescreamer infront of the egnater to give it a lil more oomph?

@aldricsuan Out of all the gear we had with us, the one thing I wish we both had access to is a Tubescreamer. We've both always used amps for distortion though, with an occasional push from something with boost. I think as always with recording, the amp sounded hi-gain enough to Rob in the room, but the microphones didn't agree.

The egnater sounded awesome, the pod sucked big time.. Analog responds waaay better than digital, i hate playing with digital stuff, it feels unnatural.
