Taken in the 1970's with the home video camera, this features a lot of rides now extinct from the park. Excuse the herky-jerky camera work, but this was just family stuff in the pre-video days. This bit includes such rides as the Scooby-Doo, Wheel of Fortune, Bavarian Beetle, the main street, Gulliver's ride (don't recall the exact title), King's Island Railroad, the giant slide with a 70's soundtrack including the Cowsills and Crosby & Nash

I was 13 my first trip to kings island. that was 1978. This is the way I will always remember it.

Awesome video. RIP Bavarian Beetle, still my favorite roller coaster of all time, and yes, I have ridden all the modern stuff.

@kingsislandforever , well, as I note in the video description, it's from the early 1970's. I don't know the exact year. But probably about 1974-1975.
