Ah, not surprised. I had a Mindlight at one point, but sold it to a friend who wanted it even more. I'll have to dig through and see if I recorded any of my performances.
It was astonishingly robust software. I'd have a whole set of keys programmed to different effects and palettes, recording bit of video onto the function keys and just PLAY that sucker, hitting keys, scrubbing the mouse like mad, processing the incoming camera video and it never so much as squeaked.
I want it again.

I used Invision Plus live with a band called the Psychowelders in Kansas City back in the late 80s. It was such an exciting program, and it's hard to believe that they could make it seem so *dull* - though I suppose they were trying to appeal to the corporate types.

I tracked down the developers, and surprise surprise they went to work for NewTek. Invision + Live2000 + Genlock + Video Source was a very powerful tool -- throw in a Mindlight 7 and video feedback and it could do stuff that I can only approximate with After Effects today.
