This is the mistake JFK was led into by his advisers that any "attack" from Cuba wud be considered an attack from USSR. That political language was a wrong strategy. First of all, USSR had nothing to do with Cuban missiles, it was all a show-up. Secondly, Castro thought of himself a leader, because the US made him so. To his people, he was able to brag about his "abilities" citing that the US threatens me, I am so much effective against a superpower. The US should now get over politics of fear.

@foxylady2133 Jackie loved Jack dearly. She was rather disappointed that Jack did not stop his womanising. Her own father, like Jack's father was a total womaniser. Rich men think that women don't have brains and have no souls, but only beauty and flesh to amuse them. Jackie was paid a million dollars by Joe Sr. to not get divorce from Jack as it would look bad for his image of a perfect man and lessen the chances of his second term. She was clearly upset and began drinking and smoking a lot.

$3 Billion in 1962 equates to over $20 Billion in today's dollars. Still not a large amount compared to the spending of $10 Billion per month in Iraq today. By comparison, Russia today spends about $80 Billion per year on military defense, while the USA spends $710 Billion per year.

The girlfriend in this video irritates me. Interesting that some of his other girlfriends don't speak about him in the same sarcastic way. Based on her comments in this video, I think she wanted more out of the relationship. But what can you expect when you have an affair with a married man who is the President. Of course, he wasn't going to open up to her, he had a wife for that. She never saw him in a moment of pain or sadness. Well others did.
