The story of Jeffrey Immelts leadership at GE is a uniquely instructive one. Following in the footsteps of a legend, he led his company to 8 percent annual growth during a time of unprecedented challenges. For the first time, Immelt has allowed an author full access as he goes about reshaping one of Americas most venerable companies. Jeffrey Immelt and the New GE Way shows readers how to apply his highly original leadership and management practices to their own business.
General Electric, go out of business already.
General Electric deathwatch starts now.

I hope to see the day GE is gone. It needs to go the way of RCA. It has a long history of shiting on labor and the American people. Because the masses are so poorly informed, it is able to carry on.

He is so bright that he is quitely brining FASCISM to America...
Jeffery Immelt is in the Whitehouse and he was appointed to THE FED by Obama...
So the fed in now a virtual piggybank to GE !
This is not about reshaping GE it's about re shaping America as Barack Obama himslef has stated !
Its so intresting that GE owns NBC...
Now consider the sweeping endorsement that NBC and MSNBC gave Obama duing the campaign...

Amen! Immelt is a disaster. Look how far GE has fallen. My stepdad lost $300,000 of his savings & security retirement after he busted his ass for GE for 40 yrs. Shareholders were silenced ex-Soviet union style from speaking out against NBC/MSNBC which are embarrasments. Immelt and Obama and Daschle are cronies, "healthymagination" depends on Obama's national healthcare and will invade patients right to privacy by digitizing medical records of ALL 300 million US residents, I can go on and on.

If this author thinks the new GE way is successful, Id hate to see failure. After $300b (yes, billion) in shareholder equity losses since 07, Immelt and the rest of his cronies need to go where they deserve- into the trash can.
