@baseballgrader Well, it should either bolt on or since that would be obvious, it must simply go through the hole and start wrapping it around the spool.
Hi Doug, quick question. I just bought a 2008 Yamaha Big Bear, and it came with a Warn winch. Now unlike the other winch's I've used, the wires on this are running to some kind secondary wiring house that he had put inside the rear storage box, then to the battery.. I'd just like to know what the thing inside the rear storage box is, because I want to switch the winch to my other quad.. Thanks.
@lostinthegame77 Basically it's a control box that allows the power to come in from the battery and then go to the winch. But also there is the ability to operate the winch via the wires to the handlebar control or remote.
