@LPK425 Being out of the atmosphere and being out of earth's gravitational field are two different things.

Maybe somebody can help me out... when they release the boosters I guess they're not technically out of the atmosphere yet, even though it looks as if they are? Otherwise wouldn't the boosters just float around? Don't know much about this but it's awesome to watch.
