As we've been hearing, the defendants in the Ergenekon case are being tried with some extraordinary offenses. //
The indictment is said to be the most comprehensive case in the history of Turkiye since the Republican period. 86 suspects in all have been charged.
"Besides the definition of terror organizations which have ideological and separatist foundations, terror offense is described as any actions which aim to weaken or seize the authority of the state, to break the public order or internal and external security of the state by persons who are the members of an organization, according to the Article 1 of the Law of Struggling with Terror."
According to the details in the Ergenekon indictment, this organization has executives.
"The executives of the terror organization are charged with the total of the actions carried out by the organization. It can be understood when the indictment is examined members of the organization who have no executive posts are indicted with the offenses that they have been individually involved."
The indictment prepared by the Office of the Istanbul Prosecutor and filed with the 13th Criminal Court is expected to reach a decision to sustain or dismiss the indictment within 15 days.
Ergenekon must topple the corrupt Turkish government and army and fix corruption in Turkish soil to live up to Ataturk's wishes when he founded his country to be modern, strong and powerful! Long live Ergenekon!

Istanbul Bianet website on 04 September 2008 published a report by Erol Onderoglu under the title: "Chief of Staff's 'Envoy' to jailed Generals charged with ties to assassination of Cypriot journalist":
"Huseyin Yalyali of Press Labourers Union of Turkish Cypriots has demanded that gen. Galip
Mendi who visited the imprisoned Ergenekon generals on behalf of the General Staff should be tried for the murder of Kutlu Adali in 1996.

Rauf Denktash (a hero in Turkey for what he has engineered in Cyprus with the active support of the Turkish fascist military and with the 'Grey Wolves' organisation) ... has of course denied that he ever had anything to do with Ergenekon, and the Turkish state is highly unlikely to investigate THAT, because it would be against it's 'national interest' to do so ... of course the "International Media" will not ask any awkward questions about Denktash' part in Ergenekon long before and during 2004

There were reports during 2005/6 that IF the Greek Cypriot side had not voted against the Annan Plan [for a shameful as far as they were concerned 'solution' to the Cyprus problem] while the Turkish Cypriots voted in favour of it [because it had provided the Turkish side with almost all of its requirements, engineered by Lord Hannay and Kofi Annan under American influence] .. and if that solution had been implemented the Erdogan Government would have been brought down by a disgruntled military.
