Sue T. Rex is the largest, best preserved and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered. Only 21 other T. rex skeletons have been found, and those were less than 60 percent complete. Sue T. rex is more than 90 percent complete and extremely well preserved making it one of the most important fossil finds ever. Sue T. rex is named after the founder, Sue Hendrikson, a fossil finder. She stumbled upon Sue in 1990 at the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation near Faith, South Dakota, while waiting for a flat tire to be fixed. In 1997, the Field Natural History Museum purchased Sue T. rex for around $6Million

  • Happy 10 years! SUE T-REX has been standing proudly on the main floor of the Chicago Field Museum of Natural History for ten years now. It has been 20 years since Sue Hendrickson made the discovery.

  • Dose Sue seem to have a fatter head then most T-rexs

  • This is a replica head. The original resides in a display box on the museum's mezzanine as it was too heavy to be mounted to the skeleton without distracting supports, also the head was one part that exhibited much deformity

  • Jurassic park rap music. Nice.

  • @steven9595959595 Well some theorize the females may be bigger then males due its relationship with bird blood lines, it's not fully proven that's the case for rex nor fully confirmed but plausible nevertheless.

  • @THEKINGS001 well the famales r orizginally 15 to thirty percent bigger unless in alot of cases a male can reach giant porportions

  • @steven9595959595 Got a point but still not that big, Maybe a Big Buck Male yes. We would look like bit size yum yums to it!!

  • @THEKINGS001 actually when all the muscle skin and meat it will actually add about thirty percent more and is more than u think
