Watch at the very begining. As the cigarette comes out of his mouth and goes toward the ground, his right arm goes up at the same speed. When the cigaretted goes back up, his right arm goes down. The string is going up around the back of his neck, through his hair, coming out directly onto his forhead where its taped or tied to the cigarette. And when it's in the garbage his left hand is like a pulley pulling it straight out even though he's bent over.
Oh, and Santa Clause isn't real either.
