Over the next year, 35% of Americans believe the job market will get better, 36% say it will stay the same, and 28% expect it will get worse. Republicans name lower taxes as their preferred solution, while Democrats are most likely to suggest keeping manufacturing jobs in the U.S.
Point taken. I think though that the number of businessmen that think employment will be worse a year from now would be even higher than 38%, because like you said most people dont have a clue.
I dont think anyone is not hiring because of their politics, if they are their not much of a businessman.
The uncertainty that Obama has created with CapnTrade and HC has paralyzed most businesses. They dont know what will be required of them when all this anti business legislation passes, so they freeze

Most businessmen might be Republican, but all Republicans aren't businessmen.
So most of that 38% probably don't have a clue, they just hate Obama.
Same goes for most of the 52% Dems ,they just love Obama.
But you make a great point. How many business people are holding back on job creation, just because of their politics?
If a person is wealthy, why should they care about creating jobs,it's not like they have to.

Interesting
Taxes are at their lowest rate since 1929, we see how well that went.
Clue for Republicans:
Trickle down economics does not work.

Since most businessmen are Republicans, this means that 38% of the people that make employment decisions believe that employment will be much worse in a year. Shouldn't that alert Washington that we are headed in the wrong direction?
