@Antiks72 You're missing out, man. If the oysters are cooked, as they are here, your risk level is basically zilch.
-
@chimpiki My oyster virginity is firmly intact.
-
@afterapplepicking I agree, MPW does have that certain Je ne sais quoi
-
you can really tell he respects nico because of how excited he is to watch him eat his food. this is great.
-
@ajocean not if its poached
-
does anyone have a clue how difficult it is to cook fish with its skin like that? oh my they are masters :D
-
I had some bad oysters a week ago, and I'm still suffering the consequences. Seeing this video, I can't wait until I'm healthy enough to eat more!

Marco's like the Godfather... GR the top Hit Man.
-
What he did at the end was just pure magic....... Perfectly seasoned sauce within seconds.

@afterapplepicking No cook pops up up out of a vacuum. Everything they do is a development of what came before. All the great chefs use recipes from the past. When Marco uses an unmodified signature recipe he credits that chef on his menu - 'Pigs trotter Pierre Kaufman'. This is not 'stealing' it's just the way of the world. Even John Lennon recorded cover versions of his favourite 50's rock and roll numbers
Best cooking show. All about cooking. This type of show will never be made again.

I dunno about stole. I give these guys a lot of license cuz you can't reinvent the wheel. MPW stole his pigs trotter recipe from Pierre Kaufman, technically. And stole a number of recipes from Albert Roux.
BUT...
I think MPW is a better chef than Gordon Ramsay, to be honest. He's more poetic and beautiful. Ramsay's cooking is more like a guy who disciplined himself to do it but doesn't really have...I dunno. Something.
