The B movie brought me here.

Why have I not heard of these guys when I was a teen in the 80`s? Probably cause I was in So. California where most of the music around there blew chunks. I bought the Psychedelic Sunrise LP just from hearing " Elevator Ride " on The Underground Garage and was blown away the whole album is great to boot! Way cool video. Looking for more albums from this band.

@menneskeriolie Yes, you should definitely buy it:) It's a great LP.

@stephenspinato did you find the lyrics to "Up and Down"? I hadn't been back to this page in a while, at least not to comment, and saw your note --- I transcribed the lyrics, myself (there's some stuff that remains unintelligible to me, and I'd welcome any corrections) for "BalzMahoney" awhile back, and they appear way-back-down in the comments, here. Also, if you play guitar, I just posted the chord-progressions for it in my reply to Mahoney --- even a beginner can strum along, at least! :-D

@BalzMahoney Long-time-no, dude! I've *finally* got my hands on a guitar again (nice brand-new Fender CD-60CE), so I'm returning to my "former glory". Did you ever get the chords right to "Up and Down"? If you didn't, here's the scoop --- verses are A, E, *D*, and back to A. Now, the *chorus* is A, E, *F#min*, D, and back to A, etc. The "I been up, I said up . . ." is A, E, D, and then it goes into the solo. If your guitar's tuned right, you can play right along with the record! :-D

Please come to Detroit. This is what a rock band is supposed to sound like. Thanks Kings!

Awesome video, the Chesterfield Kings have to be one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

We'll considering they've been going since the mid 70's, I wouldnt exactly call the "new".

Great Garage band with an authentic 60s sound. Still rockin' after all these years. I saw the CKs in the early 80s at NYU and also at Reds on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, LI, NY. Great shows! I remember when they used to play almost every song from Stop! on WNYU's Mod Monday show. Long Live Garage Rock!!!
