  • Dear Susan, Thanks a lot !! I've a doubt, is there any alternative to yeast? I wish to make whole wheat pizza for my 18 mths old son. So I wonder, is it good for kids to have this much quantity of yeast or say this much fermented food? Can you please suggest any option? thank you!!

  • @2008Minal Sorry-I can't give you advice on feeding your toddler. However, I do try not too use excessive amounts of yeast, because the flavor and texture of the dough suffers.

  • Hi Susan, great demo. May i ask you please, i would like to use only whole wheat flour and have a very soft dough at finish, so may i use only the sponge as my dough? Thank you, all the best, Lidia.

  • @fotogramlm The sponge itself would be too wet for a pizza dough. You can substitute whole wheat flour for bread flour in the recipe, but the texture of the finished product will be denser. Feel free to experiment and I wish you luck!

  • Can I use all purpose instead of bread????

  • @dillpickleboocutie You can, but your dough will be different than the one seen in my video.. Read my blog article on pizza dough where I address this question. susanscookingschool.blogspot.com/2010/04/pizza-dough-faqs.html
