I feel so stupid. I pretty much always read the lyrics, but I never liked the sound of this song at all, so I didn't care about the lyrics. Stupid me. Even though it was Rise Against. Stupid me. Now I love the sound of the song, because it fits the lyrics, and the lyrics are awesome. Lesson learned: Stupid me. Always read the lyrics! ^^

@TheCmworld You have really bad parents. When I get children I won't tell them what to hear. If they want to hear something that sounds bad to me, that's fine (although of course I hope they'll have my taste, of course). But I'll teach them how to use their brains and figure out what's right by themselves - hopefully they will end up listening to lyrics like these and other Rise Against lyrics. Parents should never just ban music - if they don't like it, they should just let the child know why.

holy fuck I love the aggression in this song it's unbelievable - the reason why I love rise against is because firstly, they really express themselves in their music and secondly the way Tim writes his songs is masterly in both topics and vocabulary. All of which any modern day music artist can never even hope to match

I first fell in love with Rise against cause my parents banded it in our house after they heard a song off of Guitar hero, now I have plenty reasons to love their music. The messages and the awesome drums, vocals, and guitars.
