Altering improves health by making certain health conditions impossible to get and makes the dog calmer and happier because they do not go into heat and get "frustrated". It also keeps animals from over breeding. Cropping is purely cosmetic in most cases. My dog is not cropped or fixed. Mutilating an animal permanently should not be compared to something like dressing a child either, such a silly analogy.

@zombiepoodle77 It was his first walk and a neighbors Great Dane attacked us when he got too close to its property. His owner stopped him pretty quickly but at only nine weeks old Legacy (my dog) was pretty vunerable. I didn't notice the great dane because a Lab mix was barking at us. Had I seen the dog attacking I wouldve picked Legacy up and protected him. The Great Dane only got his ears but there was a lot of blood. Luckily I live down the street from the vet. He's fine now

@nextlifearotti nowadays good vets are only doing ear cropping for dogs who have burst blood veins in their ears (the part that is removed).

@jay46s My dog was attacked and had most of his ears ripped off and the vet said he would heal faster if she cropped them and got rid of the torn edges. I think he looked better with his ears. And the sole reason for ear cropping was for illegal dog fighting. So go fuck yourself you stupid piece of shit. You obviously really care what I say so I guess you're not you're own person. real pitbulldogs arent cropped, cropped dogs have a mutilated look to me, ive had the breed 35 years. my first dog i cropped and it was the last dog i cropped.
