You arrogant shit; I detest Radiohead fans. They have this predisposition of musical consensus that annoys the fuck out of me. I don't know if you're aware of this, but Thom loves a well-composed pop song, just listen to his early material. This song in particular obviously possesses certain Beatles elements, that you are too pompous to acknowledge; the Beatles' presence is littered all throughout Radiohead's discography, most notably, and ironically, in OK Computer; not Pink Floyd. Fuck off.

"atruelover", you are either a very obvious troll or need a reality check. If you are not a troll, that's sad. You're freaking out over a comment on Youtube.

If you don't think Radiohead was inspired by Pink Floyd, you should listen to "Lucky". I don't think this song sounds like the Beatles, you apparently do. Get it? I would love to meet someone like you in real life; someone who can't keep their cool over something as trivial as a song.

Don't address me with quotation marks, as though I don't fulfill the meaning of my name. I'm actually a very calm individual; I don't take Youtube seriously, due to the amount of insincere, and in hominid attacks made regularly. I'd rather not debate in a civil, and ultimately formal fashion in regards to something so minimal; people took it too seriously, so I put it in perspective. Homesick Alien, Karma Police, and Electioneering are Beatles-influenced; once again, fuck off.

Lucky and Last Flowers...Then again, I guess when Thom says that Pink Floyd was a big influence for him, I guess it means the Beatles.

Idiot.

of course faust arp is beatle-esque, certain melody lines and chords taken straight from "Blackbird". If the obvious musical similarites don't convince people, perhaps they might like to consider the signifcance of the line "..fingers in the Blackbird pie"....
but WHO CARES? Faust Arp was partly inspired by Blackbird, which was partly inspired by Bach's Bourrée in E minor, which was partly inspired by .... [ad infinitum]. They're all creative and beautiful; just enjoy!

what you say in the second part is true, but I can't really see any relation with blackbird, except the fact that both songs are acoustic and based on arpeggi...

From Argentina: Beatles are everywhere when you talk about good music after the sixties, I think.

I think you have described their music perfectly well to my ears, at least!! The beauty of sadness...
