  • she is so precious! <3

  • @NeeOSoul Thank you NeeO! If you believe in miracles, check out the "Miracle" video of our daughter. There is a God, and Jesus is His name!

    "Miracle... A Down Syndrome Experience.

  • she's amazing! i work with special needs children between the ages of 4-10 and you don't see this often with them coming in! it's great that you are teaching her early (like a parent would with a "normal" child)! she is going to continue to achieve more than you can ever dream because her life has been drawn out by god and his dreams are SO much bigger than our dreams!

amazing, god bless your family. it's great to see parents like you.

  • Thank you so much for your kind words! We follow through on all of her therapists recommendations and guidelines. One thing that helps is the fact that my wife has her Graduate in Behavior Analysis working with children with Autism. I'd really like to encourage you to watch Nesya's "Miracle" A Down Syndrome Experience.. music video. That one is definitely a must see!!

  • Can you please tell me how you got started with these flas cards? This is amazing! My daughter is 2 yrs 3mos and I would love to see her doing this in 3 months!

  • Sure thing! Our therapist, (I'm not sure which one, my wife knows), brought a box of videos to the house one day. The program is called, "My Baby Can Read!" we started her on it about three months ago and she just took off like a bat!. She has memorized many, many more since then. Maybe we'll post another video. If you have a child with Down or even one without, it's worth it. Thanks for stopping by and pass our YouTube page along... Thanks!

  • Kudos to Mom & Dad for taking the time to teach your daughter! Reading is so stimulating to the brain. Our favorite program we have used with our nuero-typical children is BrillKids Little Reader. From my youtube channel, click on the link to the site and there is a tab that says "Foundation." Parents of special needs kids can apply for a full or partial scholarship for the software, well any parents in financial need can apply, but particular consideration is given to those with special needs.

  • The BrillKids forum in the link also has a board for parents of children with special needs who are teaching their kids to read. It's a great place to confer with like minded individuals and they do offer a two week trial if you are not in a position to apply for a scholarship.

  • I have a daughter with ds and she is 1 1/2 and I just bought this for her...how long did it take her get this far...i wish I could have started my daughter with this sooner and doing signs sooner...but now that i'm a stay at home mom i will have alot of time to work with her..your daughter is doing so great keep up the good work...

  • Your daughter is beautiful! My little girl also uses this program and the Signing Time videos. These children are so smart and pick it up so quickly. Your daughter is so eager to learn and read. Thanks for posting the video!

  • Such a smart sweetie! I'm working on my degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology and I really enjoy seeing someone as young as her learning so fast.
