yet another stay in tokyo, but this time in a different hotel! gasp. no bellboy, smaller room, but the area is banging and so is the lobby. not too shabby, still not sure if i like the dai ichi better or not.

@Pixienyan yup! living here now, got tired of wasting so much money on plane tickets.

and yes you'll love the location!! pretty close to shinjuku station, albeit the boring end, but that's not too big of a deal since the good stuff is just a little further.

I'll vouch for this hotel. I've stayed there before, the rooms are small but very comfortable. The place is VERY clean. There are vending machines on at least one floor and there's a computer room overlooking the lobby. The beds are comfy and the hotel restaurant has good food, including some kind of buffet (which is nice if you're a hungry American and the Japanese portion sizes just aren't cutting it for you). Rates are quite reasonable and the place is in a great location.
