Looking at the Parkzone Habu, realized it would be very easy to turn it into a Blue Angels paint scheme. Plane looks a lot like an A4 which was previously a Blue Angels Jet.
I used a paint called Krylon Fusion, no primer and keep the can a little further away from the foam if you can. Don't get the H20 Fusion, it is horrible, but this one is great. We paint all our parkzone stuff with it, especially Strykers.

I have one all ready in the same scheme and will be putting that up at the same time as the Habu too.

I have also gotten some of the Blue Angels decals that I can put on here now too. I"ll do another vid with the finish product some time.

Just doing my usual Habu flight, some figure 8 touch and goes are great with it, rudder turn around the corner, bleed off most of the airspeed, then Main Gear Only Touchn Goes LOL
What a great plane to fly and learn EDFs on too. Best EDF flight envelope out there, IMHO
Thanks for watching,
Ronin

  • thanks a lot - I am definitely going to do this -

another dumb question - how did you do the masking? doesn't the tape lift off the existing yellow when you remove it?

    thanks

  • @jbpence thanks a lot. We used the least sticky, green tape I think is the best, and then stuck it to some dusty or almost any surface, and then, just pressed down right where the blue meets the yellow and not the whole width. Also the longer you have it on there, the more that it will remove. Wasn't perfect but you can touch up with a small brush if you need to after

  • Another inspirational flight film, thanks & awesome piloting

  • @Snellcomp thanks for commenting, and watching. Check out Amazing Jet Aerial Passes and habu limbo. My favorite Habu vid !

  • ok wow by far some of the best flying ive seen with this jet!!!!!!! looks good too

  • @jbpence didn't need to repaint the original yellow. Use Krylon Fusion, not the H20 stuff. Sun Yellow or just Yellow and Royal Navy Blue were great

  • @MrRAMBO1918

did you repaint the yellow of the original too? what krylon colors are used?

i just got a brand new habu, so now is definitely the time to be painting!

  • @xJae14x sorry for the late reply, thanks a lot. Check out the newest jet, Seb Art Mig29 videos

  • very very nice flying there. I get my habu in a few days, I've been looking at different landing approaches and yours were great - especially in such a relatively tight space. Great job.
