This is the New York Musical Saw Festival 2009 at Trinity church in Astoria, NY on 4/18/2009, where 63 musical saw players played Ave Maria and broke a new Guinness World Record.
...considering that most of these 53 people had never met before, much less played together, and that there was ZERO rehearsal, I feel that it was a FINE improvisational performance- better, IMHO, than most of the ones Improv Everywhere puts on...I was the sawplayer in the brown Stetson, hidden behind that fat guy's tush....

I appreciate the beauty and difficulty of playing this instrument, but this was a horrible performance.
