The 80's did bring some great Tv to British screens - French films, Indian dance and culture, even some Russian films! Now it's full of celebrity rubbish and hideous reality TV - current TV is a catastrophe. It is a failure! David Attenborough was responsible for the wonderful BBC2 around this time - a man with a vision based on global awareness and quality broadcasting.
