@56doowopdave Sorry, this is absolutely false. Yes, Al Casey wrote Ramrod. Duane Eddy is playing guitar on this record, there is no mistake on the label. Urban myths abound in rock and roll, but let's get our history straight.

Ask yourself this...Why didn't Al casey file a suit against Duane Eddy or Jamie Records to set the matter straight ? Get your facts right before you find yourself in Court.

Al Casey not only wrote it, he's the guitarist. Duane Eddy was put on the label by mistake. Al Casey was in Duane Eddy's band.
