cr125 2001 octane booster

We decided to put some lucas oil non street legal octane booster in a honda cr125 2001, yes, we did put some in before the video began. Pretty sweet...

You will only decrease the power whith a higher octane in that bike...

But whith a higher compression ratio, turbo or supercharging it may help ;)

@sasnay depends how thr bike is set up, with a highg comp piston, milled head and power valves higher octane can be required

@justinchaffin1013 all it does is make the fuel not detonate under compression but rather when ur spark plug sparks, its used in high compression 2 and 4 stroke engines, if you run too low octane in a tuned high comp engine it will pre detonate or ping which means the fuel will ignite under compression not spark, so it will combust befor its actually supposed to

To get a higher octane you need higher octane fuel like 107 or c12 not a 6 point octane booster than wont even raise 93 octane to 94

@sasnay to turbo charge something you have to lower the compression put a deep dish piston in and i gues if you do that mine as well bore it out its not as simple as you think!!
