  • Chicken are very smart. Give them a ramp they will find the entrance. Good luck

  • umm lemme guess...three delewares and three rhode island reds????comment back pls i would like to know

  • Three Rhode Island Reds and three Brahma. Brahma are fun to have. They are very pretty and grow big. Don't lay as much eggs as RIR.

  • I want to learn more about raising healthy chickens that have at least 4 m^2 of surface land to roam around and I also want them to have a chicken coup so that they can lay eggs there. Is it easy to gather the chicken eggs in a coup like this? I have never seen a chicken coup in person and I have almost no experience with chickens.

  • I am part of Silicon Valley Chicken Yahoo group. We share lots of information regarding chicken coop, what kind of chicken to get etc. There is also an FAQ for the group. Subscribe to "svchickens"

  • Hybrid layers and rhode island reds?

  • Very Very nice coop!

  • nice chickens.....

  • @3micaB I agree, having that light sit like that is asking for it. It should be hung from the roof instead or mounted on the wall.

  • I have a small backyard chicken coop that is raised off the ground and has a ramp leading to the entrance. I would like to introduce a few female ducks into my backyard "farm" and was wondering if they can use such an entrance or if they need a ground level door. I am quite new to the joys of chickens and such.

  • @johnxxu btw that is a nice coop. i nhave one build but i am upgrading to one about tht size i have four bt am getting like 4 to five more if i have these to coops i will be able to hold atleast15 or more at a time.it should be done this weekend and do you know what a silkie is . if your looking for more babys silkies are what you want. they are the best sitters i know of.i have a polish a barred rock a rhode island red and a redd star but amgetting game rooter ad silkies and more.

  • @3micaB its not realy a fire hazard because first of all your not going to bring fire into it and its not in your house but say it did go on ''fire'' its not going to harm your family.
