  • Also elton was rejected by gentle giant ( another progressive rock group like king crimson), as you can see he never wanted to be a pop star, he just wanted to play piano

  • @cocodriloon I just started listening to Elton John yesterday. I was Born in '70. He was rejected by king crimson for Brian Eno, who I listened to in the 80's. He never played with King Crimson either, according to wikipedia; just Fripp. Benny and the Jets was a response to Brian Eno (Here come the warm jets), and Elton blew him away.

  • @007koko007 Your Song and Border Song were both written in 1969 but it was recorded and released in 1970.
