@DanFrederiksen I agree with you. I'm always hesistant to invest in these robot devices until they have some sort of intelligent mapping. I wonder how good the robotic vacuum cleaners are nowadays. Although it is primitive, as long as it can cover all the lawn by the time it grows back it doesn't matter if it's autonomous. I wonder what sort of maintenance costs are involved in these automowers, without having to spend hundreds on special 'Husqvarna Automower Blades' etc.

the roomba for your lawn

some day this will be a way of life lol

I doubt it can handle the load of tall grass so I guess you will have that buzzing everyday.

@DanFrederiksen Oh. I see.

@Busdude97 a.i. artificial intelligence

@DanFrederiksen Oh. I see. What does AL stand for?

@Busdude97 they are very primitive. they pick a random direction and then continue on that until they hit something or they get to the perimeter wire and then they pick a new random direction. as a computer scientist specialized in AI it's rather unimpressive. I've considered offering my services to make a far better system but I expect them to be stupid enough to say no. in fairness it will take some cash to develop but once done it will be cheap to make and so much better.

Thats cool. It has a mind of it's own. How does it work?

looks more of a vacuum then a lawnmower
No problem on my lawn, its hidden. But the mower has a alarm if lifted and need a pin-code to stop the alarm.
