The Triangle Youth Brass Band is currently performing on the original set of instruments purchased by the Triangle Brass Band over 25 years ago. With the formation of the Brass Ensemble, it is necessary to purchase a new set of brass band instruments for the Youth Band to play on. This is a huge undertaking, as a complete set of instruments can cost nearly $60,000. The Triangle Youth Brass Band is the premiere youth organization of its kind in the United States, catering to nearly 70 young musicians each season, possessing a combined 9 North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) National Championships between the two bands.

Our goal is to purchase a matched set of instruments with the following instrumentation: 1 Eb Soprano Cornet, 10 Bb Cornets, 1 Bb Flugelhorn, 4 Eb Tenor Horns, 2 Bb Baritones, 2 Euphoniums, 3 Tenor Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone, 2 Eb Tubas, 2 BBb Tubas, 1 Vibraphone, and 1 Marimba.

We need your help!!! With your generous donation (tax-deductible), you will help secure a bright and fruitful future for the Youth Bands for another 25 years. You will also be listed in our concert programs under our DONORS BAND, in recognition of your support.

Please go to our website at http://www.trianglebrass.org/node/89 to help contribute to the future of the Triangle Youth Brass Bands.

Thank you!!!

  • Nice. Only complaint is that a marching snare part is for MARCHING SNARE. Be creative and improvise another part for a concert instrument. It's not rocket science..

  • This is fricking cool.

  • eh, you guys sounded alright.

  • sexy sax man runs in here and they all play George michael

  • lol there's no way that that's marching band posture. you don't lower your instruments in marching band and they would have been at least marking time had they been a marching band. but none the less this is amazing. I'm doing this now. I will post on youtube and put you guys as inspiration

  • I wish I was there

Even the third cornet part was good

  • oh yeah! all black: love it. livin on a prayer as a song choice: totally cool. I just hope no one mistook you guys for a marching band with that posture.

    : ) JK

  • Looking good
