@tallulah2 Her voice hasn't changed! My absolute favorite singer of all time- even above Ella and Doris and Jo Stafford and Helen Forrest and.... ! There's just something about her that I can't ever get enough of... We met and interviewed her for our 1999 A&E Biography of the Rat Pack- the entire 3 hour program is here on our channel page. Just search under:
Biography of the Rat Pack Part 1
The other three parts will show up on the right hand side of the page.

Love Keely! Saw her live a few years ago, and she sounded exactly like this, but slightly jazzier.

@pointreyes6 edited for television! Even back then! LOL!

What a lovely person Keely Smith was and still is... I can't imagine what she ever saw in Louis Prima.

@ryan33bttm Well- he was Louis Prima, after all! And Keely would be the first to defend him, even though he really did her wrong a lot...

@soapbxprod Ok but what was Louis Prima other than a loudmouth? He certainly wasn't much of a singer and he looks like the lovechild of Kim Jong-il and Teresa Giudice.

@ryan33bttm Well... he was one of the most important musicians in the country...

@ryan33bttm Actually no. Compared to Buddy Rich?
