This is the 1968 Don Nicholson Cobra Jet Mustang dragster as displayed at the Cliff Ernst Collection. Sound is the actual car as it was started in the building. Sound was edited onto the images of the car.

My grandfather raced a Wembledon white 1968 "Cobra Jet"... any way to prove it was one of the 50 built? His name was Denny Crumley, his car was sponsored by Rickman Ford in Hartsville, TN. Had the Cragars just like this one, and featured sponsors by Autolite, Lunati Cams, etc. I can send a picture if that helps... The car was sadly sold by my great uncle (for $1,800.) after my grandfather was killed in a robbery 1973. I am currently searching for it. Believed to be near Nashville...
