The Amish, because they live completely cut off from the mass-media influenced world, have the clarity of mind to live their faith and to structure their community lives around the tenets of their faith. Their worship of Christ is the central point from which everything else in their lives is defined. I have the highest respect for them as Christians: they aren't pushy, and they totally walk the talk.

I have high respect for the Amish People, i think they are so, cool, and interesting people, at least they've got the good life, and also they even arrange marriages, an amish matchmaker would go to an amish house, when an amish girl is of age, to pick out a husband. I feel sorry for those amish people that lost those poor girls, now those poor girls won't be able to grow-up, get married, and rise familes of their own.

Christian forgiveness is one of the hardest tests for believers to learn (myself included). I am absolutely humbled by viewing this video. If we think murderers (people) are "bad" we need to remember that Jesus forgave those who crucified Him and even said "forgive them father for they know not what they do".

@iamarock09 I kinda believe that we only love other people because Jesus loves us and the love spills over into the relationships we have with other people. I was just referring to the bible verse which was quoted incompletely, which gave it a significantly different meaning. I should have said "...they forgive because God forgave them, not JUST because they love people."

It was absolutley incredible. I must say, I don't cry during movies, but I cried during that one due to the forgiveness and especially during the scene where the Amish attend the killer's funeral.
