  • You say Westphalia is a province in Germany near Poland ... WRONG !!.. Westphalia is in central western Germany, Poland is the country to the east. Learn your geography, you are embarrassing yourself.

But.... I very do much love your version of the Westphalia Waltz.... my home . Thank you for sharing.

  • The American version was actually written about Westphalia Texas. Not me talking in the video. The border between Germany and Poland changed a lot so it depends what year you are talking about and also what Polish version of the song you are talking about. Germany is near Poland. Also depends which Westphalia one is talking about since there are dozens of them in Europe alone. Glad you enjoyed the music.

  • You guys are great :) congrats

  • Thanks . There are a lot of lovely tunes out there around the world that are not heard as often as they should be.

  • @midivox Does the melody originate from Westphalia in Germany, or Westphalia in USA ? I can not find a German production on the net.

  • @midivox Germany and Poland border each other. After WW2, Poland's border extended into Germany and remains today. My mother's ancestors originated from Germany, but today that samecity is in Poland territory due to that encroachment. Westphalia, has never been near Poland.... way over on the opposite side of the country.
