This time, it's yet another episode of Pyramid from it's days in "the city that never sleeps", New York, New YOOOORK!!! This **VINTAGE** episode of The $20,000 Pyramid comes from the week of 9/4/78-9/8/78 (this is the Labor Day episode), and features guest stars Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner, Rita Moreno, and from the Mary Tyler Moore Show spin-off Lou Grant, Robert Walden. The race to the Winner's Circle begins with round one; where contestant Ronnie (female) has a chance at the top prize of.... $20,000. Will she be climbing the perilous Pyramid for the dough? Let's watch, huh? ;-)

  • @feudfan55 wrong

  • @Ivoryface86 GSN did *not* air this episode during the brief time in 1997-98 when reruns of $20,000 Pyramid were part of the regular schedule. Incredibly they aired the week before this (featuring the first appearances of the returning champ Ronnie) and then skipped this week altogether and went to the next week. Fortunately this Monday show from the week surfaced on the collectors circuit.

  • That was Michael McKean in the clip right after Sandy Duncan.

  • @vnisanian2001 I assume its 260 episodes from the year 1978 alone.

  • This was from September 12, 1979

  • @vnisanian2001 So the numbers went back to # 1 when the show moved to ABC in 1974? Thanks for that info. Didn't know that before.

  • This aired September 4, 1978.
