The Constituents are an acoustic band based in Arlington, Virginia. They play popular music often combined with Caribbean soca, kaseko, reggae, Latin salsa, and merengue rhythms. Band members Judith and Ingrid Morroy, Seth Merritt, Jamie Daly, Rob Receveur, Ernesto Campos and Carlos Contreras met each other through work, politics and community activism in the Washington metropolitan area.

    The one that comes close to the original would be from Celia Cruz. The background beat has been used and abused in rap songs.
